Hi, I'm Wabi. Builder & explorer.
I'm a self-taught developer and AI builder from Ethiopia, currently in Grade 11. I started coding out of curiosity — wanting to understand how the tools shaping the world actually work. That curiosity grew into building real AI systems, founding Isarion, and competing in national cybersecurity competitions.
I believe technology is one of the most powerful forces for change in Africa, and I'm committed to being part of that change — not as a bystander, but as a builder. My focus is AI-powered education tools, but my drive goes further: I want to help create the kinds of companies that don't exist yet in Ethiopia.
I'm a team leader who works across disciplines — I collaborate, communicate, and build in public. I'm preparing for global opportunities while remaining grounded in where I come from.

INSA Cyber Talent
Advanced to the national semifinal in Ethiopia's premier cybersecurity competition.
2025
Cyber Threat Investigation
Conducted an OSINT-based investigation into abusive online infrastructure and reported it for takedown, alongside an authorized red-team exercise as part of the same program.
2024
RK4 Planetary Motion Simulation
Orbital mechanics simulation using Runge-Kutta 4th order integration.
2024
Science Fair Research
Independent research on applied AI and data analysis for real-world problems.
Ongoing
Android & Kotlin
Studying Android architecture through Google's Udacity programs.
02 / things I ship
Featured projects.
A selection of experiments and systems. Each one started as a question and became something real.
Warden CI
A GitHub-native security tool for the AI-driven software supply chain. Warden CI scans pull requests the moment they open, flags npm and PyPI packages that don't actually exist, catches hardcoded secrets and unsafe eval(), and posts results as a GitHub Check — without storing repository source code.
long vision: grow from a focused PR security layer into a trusted security platform for engineering teams — private-repo coverage, team workflows, and deeper policy controls.
Isarion
My flagship startup — an AI-powered learning platform helping students study smarter through AI tutoring, OCR, PDF learning, active recall, and spaced repetition.
Launchpad
A hub site bringing together the products I've built and shipped — one place to browse everything, instead of hunting across separate repos and pages.
AfriVoice AI
NLP and speech-to-text tooling built for African languages — making voice technology accessible to communities major platforms overlook.
Cyber Threat Investigation
A two-phase cybersecurity exercise: an OSINT-led investigation into abusive online infrastructure that was reported for takedown, and a separate authorized red-team simulation.
RK4 Planetary Motion
Physics simulation modeling orbital mechanics using 4th-order Runge-Kutta numerical integration — accurate enough to simulate real planetary trajectories.
Science Fair Research
Independent research on applied AI and data analysis for real-world problems, submitted for national science fair recognition.
